Our Strategic Evolution: From SHM to AIAM

Originally established in 2021 as the Master Program in Smart Healthcare Management (SHM), our program has officially renamed and transformed into the Master Program in Artificial Intelligence Applications & Management (AIAM). This strategic evolution expands our academic and practical focus from healthcare technology into a broader spectrum of industries, addressing the rapidly growing global demand for cross-disciplinary AI integration.

Building upon SHM's strong foundation of combining information technology, healthcare, and management, our program has successfully cultivated outstanding international talents. Our graduates have achieved remarkable success as medical doctors, researchers, university lecturers, clinical nurses, and Ph.D. candidates in Bioinformatics.

Now, under the International College of Sustainability Innovations (ICSI) at National Taipei University (NTPU), AIAM extends the application of artificial intelligence beyond healthcare into business, finance, and sustainable management decision-making. We empower students to harness AI technologies across diverse domains to drive organizational innovation and global transformation.

Comprehensive Curriculum Structure

Our 2-year, 35-credit program offers a balanced curriculum combining technical proficiency and managerial strategy:

· Core Courses (18 Credits): Build strong foundations in data analysis, programming, and AI research methodologies, including Data Mining, Programming, Artificial Intelligence Informatics, AI Research Methodology, and Seminar in AI Applications.

· Elective Courses (11 Credits Across 2 Tracks):

o AI in Applications: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cloud Computing, AI in Digital Health, Smart Healthcare Management, Big Data Analytics, Generative AI Innovative Applications, IoT, and AI-driven Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

o AI in Management: Digital Transformation in Enterprise, AI Policy, Regulation & Ethics, AI in Finance & Quantitative Analysis, Marketing Management, and Health Economics & Policy.

· Master's Thesis (6 Credits)

· Scholarships Available: Merit-based, Full, and Partial Program Scholarships available each semester.
